Keeping the cat bed stable is important. Why? Well, if it’s comfortable, but not stable, she will not want to use it. Because she will be flying all over the place when she uses it. Well, maybe not as drastic as that, but, you get my point, right?
Simple to clean
Ideally, your cat bed of choice should be simple to clean. But, in particular, machine washable. If it’s not, you will be unlikely to keep up with the manual cleaning, right? Let’s be honest, who really wants to manually wash anything these days?
Waterproof base
If you want to avoid your cat bed lapping up every spilled liquid, or even worse, cat urine. Then, invest in a cat bed that has a waterproof bottom. Trust me, it’s not much to ask for, and its simple to find. But, it makes a big difference to how long you will keep this item, are you with me?

Pros:
- Good padding
- Machine washable
- Waterproof base
- Skid-proof bottom
- Comfortable faux fur
Cons:
- The provided pillow is a bit small (leaves a couple of inches around the side)
- Some cats may not appreciate the fact that it’s closed
- If weight is applied on top, it distorts the shape (Could be braced to avoid this)
What I like about this Armarkat cat bed
This covered cat bed will have any cat feeling secure and comfortable. It could easily be mistaken for a baby cot, right? I love the fact that it has so much good padding. This just adds to the comfort.
With regard to its comfort, I have to also mention the faux fur that it has. This material has the benefit of looking good but, without the guilt of using real fur, are you with me?
Even though its soft and has ample padding it is still machine washable. This is ideal to keep on top of the maintenance of this item. As you can imagine, with your cat lounging in there, day after day, it can get grubby, are you with me?
The base is waterproof. So, if you have some liquid, or worse case, some cat urine (Click here to see why this cleans up urine so well), then you can rest assured that it won’t penetrate the base of this cat bed, yay!
While we are on the topic o this cat bed’s base, let me comment on the skid-proof feature it has. This simple addition protects it from skidding across your floor and causing problems, are you with me?
In summary, if you are looking for a cat bed that looks great, has a waterproof base that won’t slide all over the place, then this sounds right up your street.
What I dislike about this Armarkat cat bed
The pillow, that is provided, is a bit small, to be honest. It’s not the worst, but, it could be bigger. It leaves a gap around the edges that is just a bit annoying for me.
As much as I appreciate the closed design o this cat bed, other cats may feel a bit claustrophobic with it, are you with me? It’s not a bad design, its just down to preference.
The top of this cat bed is easily collapsed if your kitty persists with trying to jump on it. If it had some bracing on it, this would not happen. Again, this is not a big issue, but worth mentioning.

- Neck & back support (Ideal for older cats)
- Can be used as a cooling cot (for outdoor usage)
- Soft velour material (make it cozy)
Cons:
- It would be better with an extra cushion (bottom needs more padding)
- Would be better if it was a bit thicker
- If she is a scratcher, she may tear a hole in the bottom
What I love about this Petmate cat bed
This cat bed, from Petmate, is machine washable. For me, this is a key feature. If it’s not machine washable it is a real problem to maintain, are you with me?
To keep it stable, it has grips, this eliminates the chance of it sliding all over the place and causing an accident.
The real big benefit with this cat bed is the neck and back support that this provides. If you have a senior cat (Click here to see why I feel this organic food is best for them), you will need to look out for additional support in these areas, so this makes it an easy choice, in these circumstances.
If you want a place to cool her off outdoors, you can consider using it for that reason as well. It feels cozy with its soft velour material provided.
In summary, if you are looking for a cat bed that provides additional neck and back support. As well as being machine washable and won’t slide all over the place, then this sounds good for you.
What I do not love about this Petmate cat bed
The bottom of the cat bed is a bit thin, in my opinion, I feel that it could do with a bit more padding in this area. Also, in general, I feel that it could be a bit thicker.
And, if you have an aggressive cat (Click here to see why cat owners use this for aggression) or cat that loves to scratch, you may notice that she may damage the bottom of the cat bed.

- Beautiful fluffy design
- Stable (Rubber grips on the bottom)
- Water-resistant bottom (stops it soaking up the mess)
- A Range of great colors
Cons:
- It could be a bit bigger
- Has a tendency to lean on the sides (needs more side support)
- The bottom could do with more padding
What I appreciate about this Bodiseint cat bed
Just looking at this cat bed gives you the feeling that it is gorgeous and comfortable, right? Well, I can say it is comfortable, and it does look gorgeous. And, it is nice and soft.
With the addition of the rubber grips, it will keep your cat bed from sliding all over the place. A stable cat bed is ideal if you want her to maintain comfort.
As well as it is stable, it is water-resistant on the base. This helps to prevent it from absorbing any liquid that may be on your floor, such as cat urine. I also appreciate all the range of lovely colors that it comes with.
In summary, if you are looking for a cat bed that looks gorgeous, stays stable on the floor, and has a good range of colors to choose from, then this sounds like the one for you.
What I do not appreciate about this Bodiseint cat bed
As much as I like this bed, it could be improved. In particular, the size. I just feel that it could be a bit bigger to maximize its appeal. Also, it has a tendency to lean down on the sides. I guess this is just a consequence of the gorgeous design.
Also, the button does a good job of being waterproof and keeping it stable, but it could do with slightly more padding to make it better.
