Guide for Feline Pine Pellet Scoopers
Before you make your choice have a read here. I will explain some of the best features and benefits to look out for. Here are a few…
- Long handle (Avoid the mess)
- Good ergonomic design (Hold it easier)
- Simple to clean
- Strong & durable
- Does not bend easy (stops it flicking the mess around)
Long handle (Avoid the mess)
Having a long handle is a good practical feature. Yes, it’s a basic feature, but it will save you some hassle. The point is it will distance you away from the litter tray and help to keep you clean.
Also, if the smell of the litter repulses you, you can keep as far away as possible, are you with me?
Good ergonomic design (Hold it easier)
A comfortable grip could be the difference between you holding the scooper firmly or fishing it out of cat urine (Click here to see how this vacuum laps up cat urine, easily), right? So, don’t underestimate it.
A well ergonomically designed scooper is a simple way to ensure that you get the best grip and avoid accidents like this.
Simple to clean
I get it, a scooper is a relatively small item, right. But, it can still get dirty. Therefore it should be easy to clean it up. Whether it’s using non-stick metal or any other option.
Strong & durable – Does not bend
The strength of the scooper will help you keep it in place. This is more important when you asses what can happen if it isn’t strong. If it isn’t it can bend back as you attempt to scoop.
This will mean you stand a good chance of it flicking back into place with a full load of soiled litter. Guess what happens next? Yes, you got it, it gets thrown around your room, yuk!

In this section, I will share with you three of my best scoopers for Feline Pine pellets. Each one of my choices will be critiqued. Meaning, I will explain what I like and do not like about each one. The idea is this will help you to see what works best for your needs.
01. DuraScoop pine pellet scooper (Best Option)

Pros:
- Strong & durable
- Easy to clean
- Nice size (large enough for pine pellets)
- Ergonomic design (Fits your hand better)
- Enclosed sides (Stops the dirty litter scattering)
- Avoids bending and flicking cat mess
Cons:
- The handle loop-hole is foam-based material
- A bit tricky to use on smaller litter boxes
- Its a bit heavy compared to others
What I like about this DuraScoop pine pellet scooper
This DuraScoop scooper makes litter control a doddle. It has a strong and durable design that will keep most cat owners happy. It is simple to clean and is a great size.
The strong design helps to reduce the chances of the scoop bending while you scoop. You may wonder what difference this makes, right?
Well, if it starts to bend while you scoop, what do you think will happen next? Well, it will flick back into place, right? Resulting in its contents flicking over your floor, are you with me?
The size allows you to scoop fast but not too big for it to be awkward to hold, are you with me? This is improved with its ergonomic design. This simple design makes it easier to handle it while you scoop away the mess.
If you look closely you will see that it has enclosed sides. Meaning, there are no holes on the sides. This is deliberate. The idea here is to reduce the chance of the pine pellets getting scattered all over your floor, make sense?
In summary, if you are looking for a litter scoop that is ideal for Feline pine pellets, easy to clean and has enclosed sides to contain the mess, then this is a great option for you.
What I dislike about this DuraScoop pine pellet scooper
The handle loop is foam based. This is not ideal when you are holding it. You will know what I mean if you hold it. Due to its size, it can be a bit awkward to use on smaller litter pans.
Also, on a similar note, it is a bit heavy, when compared to other scoopers, in my opinion. So, if you are a weakling like me, you may find it a bit annoying.

- Waterproof handle
- Non-stick plated material (stops the mess sticking)
- Ergonomically designed (holds in your hand well)
Cons:
- Its quite big

What I love about this iPrimio pine pellet scooper
This scooper from iPrimio has a nice long handle. This is ideal because it keeps your hands as far away from the “action” as possible if you get me?
The design makes sifting out the soiled litter easy (Click here for the best sifting at litter trays) while allowing you to reuse the unused pine pellets. In fact, it makes it effortless.
The scooping experience is made so much easier due to its strength and how sturdy it is. I also appreciate the fact that it is waterproof. You may think this is a minor, right?
Well, yes it is, but it makes a big difference when you have large pools of cat urine (Click here to see how to get rid of cat urine in your laundry) to workaround, are you with me?
Also, it has a layer of non-stick material around it. This makes it easier to prevent it from getting stained and messy in the long term. This will stop you from having to replace it earlier than you would prefer.
The ergonomically designed handle makes it easy to hold in your hand. It helps you to get the job done as soon as possible.
In summary, if you are looking for a cat scooper that deals with pine pellets, with a long handle and is non-stick then you will appreciate this offering from iPrimio.
What I do not love about this iPrimio pine pellet scooper
Firstly, this scooper is quite large, some may find it a bit too big, but it’s not a deal-breaker for me. If you have liter with really large particles, this may not be the best for you.
It comes with a wall-mount, which is cool, but I just feel that it should have a bigger distance from the wall. This would stop it potentially messing the wall up, are you with me?

It does not bend easily which is great because stops the chance of the mess getting flicked around everywhere. I like the fact that you do not need to need to shake the pellets out. Instead, it’s effortless.
This is a big thing because if you have to shake it aggressively the chances are you will break up any soiled clumps and cause a big mess, are you with me?
Its metal material makes it easy to clean. It doesn’t;t attract and get mess stuck to it easily, are you with me?
In summary, if you are looking for a metal scooper that has a nice long handle and easy to clean then this one is a great option for you.
What I do not appreciate about this UNK pine pellet scooper
This is a metal scooper. And, when I say metal, I mean it. So, even the handle is metal. Meaning, the handle can be quite slippy. To be honest, it can be uncomfortable to hold at times.
Also, from time to time, you may notice small clumps of a mess getting through, but not too much to be a big issue, in my opinion.
