1. Remove the bed sheets: Then, throw them in the washing machine as fast as possible before the pee dries.
2. Apply a cup of white vinegar: If there is still a pee smell or stains on the sheets after washing, apply a cup of white vinegar and start washing them again.
3. Put a dry and clean towel on top: Regarding the mattress, put a dry and clean towel on top of the wet area. Never scrub with the towel, as this will spread the urine around the mattress even more.
4. Mix this solution: Mix 2 cups of water, 1 cup of white vinegar, and 2-3 tbsp of laundry detergent. Put the mixture in a spray bottle and spray the mattress generously. Feel free to soak the mattress with it if you want to!
5. Soak the Mixture: Leave the mixture to soak in the mattress for 10 minutes. You can use a clean cloth to remove any excess liquid.
6. Apply baking soda: This is the most crucial step! Apply baking soda on top of the affected area and leave it for 8 – 10 hours. You should close the room so the cat would not go in and create a mess with the baking soda.
7. Vacuum it up: Finally, once the baking soda is completely dry, clean it up with a vacuum. Make sure the baking soda is completely dry to not damage your vacuum.

If the smell continues, apply the solution and the baking soda once again until it is completely gone.
